Vanessa Da Silva

Vanessa Da Silva's interdisciplinary practice combines sculpture, installation and performance, focusing on issues to do with formation of identity, migration and the body as a political tool. Da Silva’s interest lies in the translation of movement by material manipulation or through an investigation of the body within the context of performance and dance.

 

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Vanessa Da Silva graduated from the Royal College of Art (2017) and currently works between Sao Paulo and London.
