Gemma Rolls Bentley's curatorial practice amplifies the work of female and queer artists and provides a platform for art that represents and explores LGBTQ identity. Gemma is Chief Curator at Avant Arte, a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art and an advisor to cultural projects and private art collectors. She co-chairs the board of trustees for the charity Queercircle and she is a member of the Courtauld Association Committee.
