For Frieze London, Cob presents a focused yet expansive installation of paintings by American artist Katelyn Eichwald, conceived as a spatially dispersed constellation that articulates the material and emotional breadth of her practice.
Eichwald’s choice of substrate plays an active role in this body of work, with the textures of linen and burlap shaping both surface and affect. The selection brings together her recurring imagery -fragments of bodies, domestic interiors, tools, garments, and cinematic details - drawn from film stills, literature, memory, and everyday observation.
Operating through mood rather than narrative, the works function as discrete yet interrelated moments that accumulate emotional resonance.
