Scenic Views is an interiors magazine that focuses on the everyday, the overlooked and the forgotten.

There are many ways that people tell stories through their surroundings. The bars, cafes, hotels, transit centres and other public spaces that make a city are rarely remembered once they are gone—not to mention the private rooms, apartments and houses that are endlessly built and demolished.

Featuring an interview with Stefanie Zoche of the photographer duo Haubitz + Zoche on their series documenting the colourful churches of Kerala; frog-themed ceramics of desserts by California legend David Gilhooly; a spotlight by Tess Little on miniature models of motels and diners by Alan Wolfson; a reflection on the history of the Lazy Susan by Louise Benson accompanied by a photograph by Lorena Lohr; a document of the murals that can be found in Japan’s bathhouses by Stephanie Crohin; anonymous images of the interiors of trains, ferries and coaches around the world.
